PNGC Power Hires Automation Engineer
Portland, Oregon - 01/29/2004 - PNGC Power, a Portland-based wholesale electric power cooperative, has hired Don McCready as automation engineer. In this role, McCready manages PNGC Power's Meter Data Management System upgrades and maintenance as well as expanding the system with new metering points and functionality. He will be using his SCADA system (supervisor control and data acquisition) expertise, as well.

"Don's a valuable addition to our team," said president and CEO Patrick Reiten. "He brings real expertise in meter, relay and controls engineering as well as communications design and system integration that will help us continue providing innovative solutions to our members and their customers."

McCready most recently was senior engineer with Resource Associate International in Spokane, Washington. He is a registered Engineer with the state of Oregon and has a bachelor's of science degree in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon.
