Vickery Award recipient for Outstanding Professional Service by employer, PNGC Power. Scott, Transmission & Contracts manager, oversees transmission matters on behalf of the company’s 15 rural electric cooperative member-owners, who have service territory in seven western states. She has secured transmission for all power deliveries to PNGC’s member systems and for PNGC’s other transmission needs. This work on behalf of PNGC Power’s members includes procuring transmission, contract negotiation and administration, rate case participation and settlement negotiations. "Aleka has really risen to the challenge in the role she plays, bringing value to the members," says PNGC Power Senior Vice President and COO, Joe Nadal. "She’s hardworking and has distinguished herself with the current region-wide work on transmission restructuring." The former employee, for whom the award is named, Paul Vickery, lost his life in a car accident four years ago.
