PNGC Power Board of Directors Elects New Chair
New executive team to lead organization with customers in six Western states
Portland, Oregon - 11/26/2002 - At their regular monthly meeting in October, the PNGC Power Board of Directors, a Portland-based wholesale electric power cooperative, elected LaNea Holt Chair. She is the Manager of Lost River Electric Cooperative, Mackay, Idaho and replaces Dave Sabala, General Manager of Douglas Electric Cooperative, Roseburg, Oregon who recently completed a two-year term in the same role.
Al Gonzalez, President and CEO of Central Electric Cooperative, Redmond, Oregon, was elected Vice Chair of the PNGC Power Board of Directors. And Roger Meader, General Manager, Okanogan County Electric Cooperative was elected Secretary/Treasurer. All three positions are effective immediately.
"As we look forward, our biggest challenge is comprehensive resource planning on behalf of the customers in six western states represented by our 15 members," said Holt. "I am delighted to work with the PNGC Power Board of Directors in this capacity."

Holt currently is a director with Energy Northwest Participants Review Committee, Idaho Consumer-Owned Utilities Association, General Pacific, Inc. Board, Northwest Public Power Association Board and the Snake River Power Association Board. She is currently the Idaho State ACRE Chair, sponsored by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association.
