PNGC Power Promotes Power Supply Professional to Key Executive Position Focus to be on providing innovative and dependable power supply solutions
Portland, Oregon - 11/21/2006 - PNGC Power, a Portland-based power services cooperative, has promoted Tom Haymaker to be Vice President of Power Supply. In this role, Haymaker is responsible for overseeing activity related to meeting electricity loads for PNGC Power's members, 15 Northwest electric distribution cooperative utilities with service territory in seven western states. Haymaker is responsible for managing the operational aspects of PNGC's power contracts with the Bonneville Power Administration, as well as energy trading, risk management, incorporating resources and forecasting and modeling.

"Tom's a professional with significant hydropower expertise and a strong engineering background. We look forward to having his leadership guide our power supply efforts," said PNGC Power President and CEO, John Prescott. Haymaker most recently served for four years as PNGC Power's Manager of Power Planning and before that, spent six years at Duke Energy Trading, in Spokane and Salt Lake City, as Manager of Power Marketing. Haymaker also worked for Chelan PUD (Chelan, Washington) for nine years as a Control System Programmer and Resource Analyst. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Idaho, Moscow, Idaho.
