Brandy Neff has been named the eighth annual Paul M. Vickery Award recipient for Outstanding Professional Service by her employer, PNGC Power.  Neff, Accounting Technician, manages the payroll and accounts payable functions and provides analytical support to accounting and other staff.  PNGC Power is owned by 16 rural electric cooperatives who serve 171,000 customers in seven western states.  Neff joined PNGC Power in May, 2006.

“I believe Brandy embodies the spirit of the award due to her positive attitude, focus on service and teamwork, a willingness to take on new tasks and to forge creative solutions,” said PNGC Power Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Jon Wissler .  “She always has a smile on her face and genuine concern for those with whom she engages.”

The former employee, for whom the award is named, Paul Vickery, lost his life in a car accident nine years ago.  This annual employee award is meant to honor his memory by recognizing an employee whose work in the previous year has strongly reflected a commitment to excellence, high professional standards and support for the overall success of the organization.
